Day 453 (21.09.26), Laruns, France
Today we went up with a gondola at Station d’Artouste to have a small hike.
We hiked up to a nearby peak. On the way up we saw marmots and some horses and when we were going down again they stood on the path so we had to go around them. On the top it was a really slim path on the ridge of the mountain but with a very good view of the Pyrenees and the lakes Fabreges and Bious Artigues.
We also went up to another mountainridge nearby. My sister used the potty on the way. My dad went on by himself as it was a bit difficult walking futher on the ridge and we went down to the gondola only to discover it had closed one hour early, so when my dad came back, we had to do en extra 3 hour hike all the way back down to our car.
On the way down we saw a lot of cows and we also saw the moon. We had to hurry a bit as the sun was going down and we didn’t wanted to hike in the dark.
