Day 451 (19.09.26), Laruns, France
Today we went on a 8 hour-hike in the Pyrenees close to the Spanish border. It was a hot day and it was a little hard to go up. We passed a dam with a lake and when we were walking up a road we saw a big herd of cows and there was one cow trying to ride on the other cows back.
We passed a lot of both big and small beautiful lakes, streams and waterfalls.
By one of the lakes there was a sign that showed us we were in an altitude of 1965 m. We went up higher, had a rest and some food next to a nearby pond. There was a lot of small fish in the pond and my sister threw some of her bread in the water. In another pond we saw a funny-looking hole. In the air we think we saw a lot of Griffon Vultures and Red Kites.
On the way down and back to the carpark we passed some sheep and another herd of grazing brown cows.
When we got home to campsite my sister put on her bunny ears and we played with clay until it got dark outside.
