Day 422 (21.08.26), Betws-Y-Coed, Snowdonia, Wales
Today we went on a hike and I had my hat on and my scarf up over my face so you could not see my face and barely see my eyes. My mum and dad called me a bandit.
While we were hiking around the first lake of our hike there were a lot of sheep poop. We stopped to have lunch and I found a very comfortable rock to sit/lie on.
In between the two lakes we passed an old bridge and a waterfall and also we saw two fallen trees where you could see the roots and rocks from under them. There were also som slate stones put up so they were pointing to the different mountaintops in the area.
When we were at the second lake on our hike we needed to go up a mountain side and when we were up there we had a good view of the lake and beyond.
I also saw a big rock that I could climb on and climb to the top. It was very high up and on the way down my dad accidentally took a picture while I was blowing my nose because I was still a little bit sick.
When we were close to the lake I saw a fish in it which was about the size of a trout.
In the evening we went to the Peregrine Circus and saw a show that was called ‘Belly of the whale’. There was a man and a lady on rollerblades and they did lots tricks very fast and it was really cool. There was also a lady doing acrobatics in a fishing net and on a rope and another lady on a trapez.
And in the end there was a man that jumped down on a board and the man in the other end of the board was fired into the air. he did a lot of spins in the air and he didn’t have any safety equipment, no rope or net or a landing pad. He just needed to trust his comrads to catch him.
It was all very cool.
