Day 414 (13.08.26), Cairngorms N.P., Scotland + visit to Edinburgh
I had som lunch and I got new tatoos on my arms and after that we went to Edinburgh.
In Edinburgh we went to the Palace and saw some people in Scottish Kilts. We walked the Royal Mile through the city.
We stopped and visited the National museum where we saw some whale bones from a washed up Sperm Whale. We also came in to an exhibit where there were models of different animals made to scale, bones from very lage animals and mounted animals.
We also went in an exhibit about scottish history which had a lot of swords and rifles.
In another exhibit I tried a chair where I needed to pull up my own bodyweight.
After the museum we went to see a magic show in Underbelly Circus Hub. The show was called Showman.
The magician called a man up to the stage and told him to give him his wedding ring and he wrapped it in a tissue, set fire to it and then it vanished. In the end of the show he made him write his wife’s name, on a wine glass, his own name on the other side, the date of their marriage and the date of the magic show and he made the ring appear on the stem of the glass – and he told the man if he wanted to get the ring back, he needed to wrap the glass in a tissue and break it.
The magician also called me up on stage and showed me a coin which in the middle was blank. He asked me my name, my age and what I want to be when I grow up. I told him that I want to be a Marine Biologist and that I was almost 9 and after he told me to rub the coin and then I saw in the blank spot it said Sebastian, almost 9 and future marine biologist.
It was really really cool.
After we relaxed a little in the circus area, we went to see the castle which was closed because of an event and on the way back to our car we saw many old buildings and churches and a man in a kilt play the bagpipe and Arthurs Seat, which is a big hill in the city.
