Day 409 (08.08.26), Glen Nevis, Scotland
Today we hiked to Steall Falls. There was a lot of water in streams that we had to cross and on our way there were a lot of biting midges – common for Scotland.
It was a short 2 hour hike.
We reached the Falls, which was very big. It is the third highest falls in Scotland. 105 meteres down the rockface.
We came to a rope bridge but I couldn’t cross because I couldn’t reach the wires. My arms were too short, so my mum and dad crossed on their own and my mum said that she could also barely reach so she had to stay close to my dad for him to hold the wires closer together.
I waited for them to come back while they went closer to the waterfall on the other side of the rope bridge.
I got a lot of midges bites.
On our way back it started raining so we hurried back to our car and on the way home to the campsite we saw some Hairy Scottish Highland Cows.
