Day 407 (06.08.26), Glen Nevis, Scotland + trip to Isle of Skye

Today we went on a long drive to an old castle called Eilean Donan Castle.

We had to cross a bridge to get to the castle and we went inside too, but was not allowed to take any pictures inside. It was very pretty, with many old furnitures, paintings and examples of food and drinks from the old days.

After that we drove to Isle of Skye and visited the Fairy Pools. We all went together on a small hike to see the Fairy Pools. There was a big stream of water with a lot of small waterfalls and pools that you could swim in, but it was very cold. It was beautiful.

After that we went to Portree and had pizza in the car on our way to another hike, just me, my dad, my mum and Summer, to see a rock formation / pinnacles, The Storr, which is 674 metres high. It was very steep with a lot of steps but with a very nice view.

On our way back to the campsite we passed Eilean Donan Castle again.
