Day 398 (28.07.26), Antrim, Northern Ireland + visit to Belfast

Today we were at the Titanic museum in Belfast. We learned a lot about the shipyard in Belfast and the Titanic and how it was build in the shipyard in Belfast.

One of the 3 main engines on Titanic weighed about 1.000 tons – the same as about a 1.000 small cars and the 3 propellers on the ship were higher than a double-decker bus.

There was a glowing model of Titanic and underneath you could see the wreck of the ship from above,  at the depth of about 12,500 feet.

In the evening we had dinner at an Italian restaurant. On the picture it looks like my sister is whispering in my ear but she is actually trying to give me a kiss on the cheak.
